CHAPTER2
I walk along on the edge of a beach as night falls. My thoughts are just a scrambled mess and I try to collect them but it's so hard. The scene with North telling me Jack may love me and then the scene where I was standing at the window with Jack and our convatation. Oh how I had screwed up big time with Jack. What if I ruinned any chances I had with the young guardian? I could not stand the thought.
After so long, I finally came to a conclustion. I stopped my pacing and take a breath and tapped my foot thinking Jack's Pool and the hole appears and I hestate slightly before jumping in and taking off down the tunnle at a full out run. All to soon I come to the end of the tunnle and I jump out and slowly stand up. It's dusk here and peach and light pink rays of light bath the ground turning it a gentle, calming color. I look around the pool. The water rippled gently and I take a breath and slowly make my way around the lapping water until I come to what looks like a fort made out of twigs and old rags and I slowly walk forward to what looks like the entrance and I bend down gently pushing the make-shift door out of the way.
There is not much in the make-shift house. There is a stand that holds what looks like Jack's hoodie and as my eyes travel around I see the staff leaning against a wall. Then my eyes fall on an old rickidy looking bed. I make out the outline of someone laying on the worn out frame that was suppose to be a bed, I slowly walk in and over to the bed, sitting on the edge. "Oi. You defiently wore not kidding when you said you wore going to bed early tonight." I joke in a very low tone more to my amusement because I knew he was not awake.
Jack was curled up under a small thin, rough looking blanket. His breathing was slower then normal and I could tell he was not faking sleep but rather in his own dream world. I could not help but smile and after a bit of hestation, reach my hand out to gently move a peice of stray hair out of his face. He looked so peaceful but at the same time, so fragial.
I watched over him 'til night finally fell, then I bent over and shocking myself a little, kissed the side of his head "Sleep well, mate." I whisper stroking his cheek before standing up and making my way back towards the entrance when my ears catch a faint voice..
"Bunny? Is that you?"
I stop and slowly turn my gaze back to the bed. Jack was sitting up looking half asleep and half awake. I smile a little walking back over "I, mate. It is. Go back to sleep."
He blinks a little then nods and lays his head back down but doesn't close his eyes. "Why did you come this late?" He finally says in a low voice.
I look down at him and sigh "Because I didn't mean what I said at the Pole, about not getting to attached to the feeling. I wanted to tell you I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way."
Jack sits up a little and looks at me for a bit before he smiles a little "Its ok." He says.
"Alrighty. If we got that settled out. I shall be on my way."
"Wait!"
As I go to stand up Jack grabs my arm and I look at him a little shocked.
He blushes a little "Can you please stay for a bit longer? This place still gives me the creeps ever sense Pitch tryed to take over.."
I narrow my eyes then relaxs "Alright. But just for a little bit, mate." I sit back down and I look at him waitting for him to lay back down, but he does something that shocked me even more, he nods to the space beside him.
"Why dont you lay down for a bit?"
I narrow my eyes slightly then huff a little. "Alright, mate, but don't be gettin' any ideas." I walk over to the other side and lay down beside him. I then start a little when he curls up right beside me, pressed against me. After getting over my shock, I smile a little and rap my arms around him, pulling him close. I could feel his bare skin underneath the coverings and I shutter just a bit.
After a while I hear his breathing slow and I think about leaving. But at the sight of him pressed right against me, I cant bare the thought to leave him all alone in this place.
I will stay for a bit longer, then I will go, maybe. No, mate. I WILL go. I think as I lay there, with Frost pressed against me..

I was just finishing a new Easter egg design when I heard it. I heard that mischief-maker's voice call my name. Something was wrong, though. He sounded panicked. He had used Tooth's emergency thing. Well, there's always a chance he was being serious. I grabbed my things and opened a tunnel to where Jack's voice had come from. When I got there, I found myself in a forest clearing. An empty forest clearing. Groaning, I stood up straight and looked around.
"Alright, Frostbite, this is not funny. For your sake, I hope you're in some kinda--" I stopped.
Lying there, in the middle of the clearing, was Jack's sta

The others got here in record time. All of them were frantic to see Jack and nearly trampled my poor eggs. Tooth never strayed from his side, always the mother figure. North and Sandy listened intently to my report. Pneumonia was a serious illness and we couldn't leave Jack alone for a moment.
"Do you think those meds will help?" Tooth asked, patting Jack's hair.
"They should. The pills were big enough. He was such a trooper, though. Swallowed 'em without a struggle." I said, taking the ice pack off Jack's head and putting a new one around his neck.
"Well, we'll just stay right here until Ja
